Release - 23 october 2025

New features

  • You can now test your WebRTC connection on a dedicated test page. No more guesswork before going live.

  • We’ve fixed a bug where the broadcaster occasionally showed a blank screen after a webinar ended.

  • We're no longer showing the Slides option in the mobile menu when there are no slides.
  • The video was displayed way too big in the Broadcaster when using RTMP streaming and slides. This no longer happens.

New features

  • Exam results have been added to the webinar insights. You can see details of all participants who have taken the exam. There is also an overview of all given answers.

Release - 11 september 2025

New features

  • Participants can now retry exams – perfect for giving a second (or even third) shot at success.
  • To keep things flexible, we’ve added an exam retry limit (or set it to unlimited if you’re feeling generous).
  • Survey and exam texts (intro, outro, pass, fail) now support Markdown, so you can add a little style to your messages.
  • On-demand time tracking has been improved, and is now precise to the second.
  • The platform now plays nicely with video input devices that use frame rates other than 30fps.

Improvements and bug fixes

  • Fixed the width of the on demand video player while the video is loading.
  • On-demand time tracking now always shows the correct times.
  • Occasional SignalR errors will no longer break webinars.

Hotfix - 21 august 2025

  • Suddenly a chat message could not be deleted occasionally, causing all kinds of subsequent issues with the chat. This bug has been squashed.

Release - 20 august 2025

  • It is now possible add an exam at the end of your webinar. Setting up an exam is similar to the survey.

Improvements and bug fixes

  • Verify account when using password lost email if user isn’t verified.
  • Allow forwarding of original chat message.
  • Remove spaces at the start and/or end of the webinar title, description and name of the host.
  • Show the number of addresses in the security allow/disallow list.

  • Improve positioning of the chat options menu, so it won’t appear (partially) out of view.

Release - 29 july 2025

New features

  • Added the option to add the organizer as BCC when a follow-up mail is sent to a user.
  • Added how often a follow-up has been sent to the follow-up overview. By clicking on this number, a new page with more information is shown, detailing to which users the follow-up has been sent, when it was sent and the score. The data can also be exported as an Excel document.
  • Added send follow-up email to API.
  • Pause chat scrolling when the user has scrolled up to read older messages, so the chat doesn’t immediately scrolls down when a new chat message arrives. A button is shown indicating the user has scrolled up. Clicking this button jumps to the last message again.

Improvements and bug fixes

  • Removed file size restriction when uploading slides.
  • A moderator will no longer see a message saying ‘it looks like you are trying to watch the webinar in another window’ when they also want to watch the webinar in another tab or window.
  • It is no longer possible to edit the start date or time and duration of a cancelled or expired webinar.
  • Empty chapters or a poll with an empty question and/or just one answer will no longer be displayed.
  • Fixed a bug where a deleted chat message would still be visible in the All channel.
  • It is no longer possible to create a new webinar on a timeslot that is not available. Existing webinars planned on a timeslot that’s not available will show a ‘Reschedule’ button.
  • Users who are not allowed to broadcast webinars cannot invite other users to manage the account.

Hotfix - 22 july 2025

  • Fixed a bug where the ‘Thank you for voting’ or the poll results were not shown after voting on a poll in an ondemand webinar.

Release - 17 july 2025

New feature

  • Added standard chat messages. As a broadcaster or moderator, a list of standard chat messages can be used. By holding down the Control (Ctrl) key on the keyboard, a list of available standard messages will be shown. When the corresponding number is pressed, for example Ctrl+1, the text will be added to the chat input field.
    A maximum of 9 standard messages can be used. The text can managed on the Manage translations page by editing the keys Chat.Standard.Message1 – Chat.Standard.Message9.

Improvements and bug fixes

  • The poll answers are now correctly hidden for viewers after voting on a poll where the setting ‘Show poll results to the viewers’ is turned off. Instead, a message ‘Thank you for voting’ will be shown.
  • Fixed a small issue in the layout of the viewer in a certain window size range.
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes the channel would not become available.
  • Fixed a bug where the device selection screen was skipped in rare cases.
  • Performance improvement for the viewer, moderator and slide-viewer.

Release - 15 july 2025

New features

  • Using the new ‘Invite a broadcaster using a link’ on the share page of a webinar, another presenter can now take over the broadcast. When this person opens the broadcaster while a webinar is in progress, a message will be shown instead of the video. When clicking the ‘Take over as presenter’ button, the other presenter can continue the webinar after resuming the broadcast.
  • Added a page to display the settings for the duration of a webinar: the maximum time a webinar can start early, the maximum duration of a webinar and the available extra time. To view this page, a new option ‘Webinar duration settings’ has been added to Manage environment.

Improvements and bug fixes

  • Improved the performance of the presenter.
  • Replaced Shaka video player with HLS.js to resolve ondemands occasionally not playing on iOS devices.
  • Reduced the size of the presenter video in the broadcaster so the slides can take up more space (only in case there are slides present).
  • Increased the size of a slide when editing slides in the ondemand editor.
  • Add styling for the description text of a webinar. Now when using Markdown in the description will result in properly styled text (headings, links, bold text, lists etc.).
